PBMpro care staff training

We offer Bild-certified and non-certified care staff training depending on the needs of your organisation. All courses have an annual refresher.

PBMpro Bild-certified foundation course
The one-day Bild-certified foundation course is suitable for staff working in verifiably low risk services. Training includes introductory information on proactive approaches plus a small selection of non-restrictive self-defence techniques.

PBMpro non-certified 2-day theory & breakaways course
The 2-day non-certified course provides 1.5 days of theory followed by a half day to cover breakaway techniques. Certified training is not mandatory if restrictive techniques are not being used so this option provides a shorter course option whilst retaining the same high quality as our certified courses.

PBMpro Bild-certified 2.5 day theory & breakaways course
The 2.5-day Bild-certified course provides 2 days of theory to meet the requirements of the RRN Training Standards followed by half a day to cover breakaway techniques. Whilst certified training is not mandatory if restrictive techniques are not being used, this option means staff could add restrictive techniques at a later stage if required and is also useful if you prefer all staff to cover the same theory package for consistency.

The 3-day Bild-certified course provides 2 days of theory to meet the requirements of the RRN Training Standards followed by half a day to cover breakaway techniques and half a day to cover restrictive techniques.

Venues

For your convenience, our trainers will come to your venue to deliver the training at no extra cost.

Costs

Prices start at £70 per delegate per day before discounts (ex-VAT). We charge per group and the rate depends on your group size. Our course fees include all administration, materials and travel/accommodation costs for trainers.
